Bermuda Tourism Authority has announced the appointment of Bill Hanbury as chief executive, reporting to the board of directors. An industry veteran with over 25 years of senior management experience, Hanbury will be responsible for leading the newly created Bermuda Tourism Authority.
Bermuda Department of Tourism is launching a twelve month multi format outdoor advertising campaign with specialist agency Out of Home International, appointed by the department’s UK based consumer and trade PR agency, Publicasity. The campaign is to promote Britain’s love affair with Bermuda and encourage further visits to the Island.
Business Bermuda will host its annual Bermuda Financial Services Conference on Thursday 7 April 2011 at the Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park, London, England.

Bermuda hopes to get the plight of some of the world’s smallest islands to the top of world leaders’ agendas at the Copenhagen Climate Change Summit. The premier of the country Dr Ewart Brown is meeting with other small island nations ahead of his visit to the summit this Friday.
Bermuda is set to go upmarket with the opening of a number of international luxury hotels next year. The first international five-star property to open on the island will be a Park Hyatt, followed by a St Regis in the capital, Hamilton, and a Four Seasons Hotel.
