Gold Coast residents this morning woke up to discover the world’s first beachfront hostel made entirely of sand. Hostelworld and Gold Coast Tourism commissioned world champion sand sculptor Dennis Massoud, or ‘Sandman’ as he is known, to create this impressive structure straight out of the very golden sand the area is famed for.
