Flynas has temporarily welcome the Airbus A380 to its fleet as it begins to welcome Hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia. The low-cost carrier thus becomes the first airline from the country to fly the largest passenger plane in the world.

All Nippon Airways has taken delivery of its first A380 at a ceremony in Toulouse. The Japanese carrier becomes the 15th operator of the world’s largest passenger aircraft. 

The South Korean capital’s Incheon airport now joins London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, New York JFK and Sydney as a destination served by the airline’s flag-ship aircraft.

Lufthansa’s flagship aircraft, the Airbus A380, has landed in the US for the first time in the new livery. The landing of the newly painted aircraft marks the festive conclusion of the anniversary year of the crane’s 100th birthday (Lufthansa’s company logo and brand symbol).

The first A380 for All Nippon Airways has rolled out of the Airbus final assembly line in Toulouse. The aircraft has now been moved to an outside station where various ground tests will be undertaken in preparation for first flight in the coming weeks. 

Since its first flight to New York from Dubai on August 1st, 2008, the Emirates A380 has carried more than 105 million passengers, clocking in more than 1.5 billion kilometres on 115,000 flights, equivalent to 39,000 trips around the globe.
