Usain Bolt drops in at Expo 2020 Dubai

The fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, has returned to the track to take part in the Run the World event at Expo 2020 in Dubai.

The 11-time world champion and eight-time Olympic gold medallist teamed up with Gatorade and the Sports, Fitness and Wellbeing Hub at Expo, for the event.

The race tool place to benefit Al Noor Rehabilitation & Welfare Association for People of Determination, with all participants urged to make a donation.

It was open to the public of all ages and abilities.

“Sports has the enduring power to bring people, communities and nations together so we are honoured that Usain has agreed to be a part of the Run the World event and are confident that it will encourage many people to run for their own good causes,” said Sholto Douglas-Home, chief marketing, communication and sales officer for Expo 2020 Dubai.

The superstar also made time to call in a the Jamaica pavilion, congratulating the destination on its recent success at the World Travel Awards.

Bolt will also be participating in a meet-and-greet with fans at the Gatorade the Bolt Pavilion in the Mobility District today.
