Patagonia Chile welcomes industry leaders to Bulgari London

Patagonia Chile hosted the London leg of 2019 roadshow earlier, with an evening dedicated to exhibiting the vast cultural, gastronomical and natural heritage of the region.

The event brought together more than 50 UK tour operators, travel agents, journalists and influences with their Patagonian counterparts and representatives from Sernatur Magallanes (the regional tourism board), all in the prestigious surroundings of the Bulgari Hotel, Knightsbridge.

Guests enjoyed a presentation by Ximena Castro Rojas, Director for Sernatur Magallanes and Antarctica, a business-to-business networking session with the Chilean delegation, a cocktail reception with Chilean pisco sours, Chilean wine and Patagonian lamb and a prize draw.

A legendary territory, Patagonia has captivated the world for centuries.

It is a place where pampa meets glaciers, fjords with virgin forests and unexplored mountain ranges are brought to life with untamed wildlife such as guanacos, penguins, whales and pumas.

Stunning natural landmarks like Torres del Paine, Cape Horn, Tierra del Fuego, the Strait of Magellan and Antarctica are only but a few of the destinations that are visited yearly by over 260,000 travellers.

Traditional cuisine, a vibrant culture and first-class touristic services and infrastructure are the perfect mix for visitors to forge lasting memories and experiences that will be treasured forever.
