Tampa Bay on tap for Oktoberfest

There is no need to fly to Munich to experience a legendary Oktoberfest plan to celebrate in Tampa Bay.

Beer lovers will unite in October to celebrate at Tampa Bay’s largest beer garden overlooking Curtis Hixon Park.  The festivities kick off with the inaugural keg tap on Friday, Oct. 12 at 6:30p.m., and the beer will continue flowing through Sunday, Oct. 14.

There are activities that everyone in your group will enjoy (as long as they are 21 and up).  Start by grabbing your beer and brat and enjoying the urban oasis alongside the Hillsborough River where you’ll find Schuhplattler dancers and live music.

After relaxing on downtown Tampa’s waterfront get ready for some Oktoberfest action.  The competition heats up as the beer cools down with annual Oktoberfest favorites like the Keg Toss and Stein Holding or take part in new challenging games like Carry the Wench and Corn hole, among others.

Those looking for the VIP experience better hang on to their steins! VIP tickets include a commemorative Oktoberfest Tampa dimpled mug (“fully of tasty beer”), VIP restroom access, VIP seating and VIP parking.  With limited VIP tickets available, they’ll go quickly so get them while they’re hot!
