SATA Airlines will launch one-stop service to Porto, Portugal from Boston this summer.

SATA will offer wide-body jet service to Porto four times a week from June to September, with a stop in the Azores and both economy and business classes.

Since 1947, the SATA Group has provided air service linking the nine islands of the Azores with Portugal’s mainland.

Near the mouth of the Rio Douro, the monumental City of Porto is an open-air museum, and is hope to some of the world’s best know wine companies.

Porto’s historic center is the Ribeira district, a UNESCO World Heritage site along the scenic Douro River.

The airline has regular air service between the nine islands of the Azores, as well as to Lisbon and Porto in mainland Portugal, and to Funchal on the island of Madeira.
