Reiss set to open micro-flagship store at Gatwick

Reiss, the design-led menswear, womenswear and accessories brand, will be arriving at Gatwick Airport this May and will stock iconic fashion at tax-free prices for all passengers.

The new 900 sq. ft. branch will stock a range of specially curated womenswear, menswear and accessories.

London Gatwick will continue Reiss’ concept of creating individual micro-flagship stores that respond to their location.

Architectural cues draw inspiration from the natural world while a subtle material palette and sleek structure provide a sense of fluidity and calm.

Reiss Gatwick is dominated by white oil-brushed timber, blackened steel pale grey textures, iceberg blue marble and cool summer-white concrete, to create a welcoming environment.

The Gatwick launch will help support Reiss’ international expansion, and see Reiss build on an existing portfolio of over 190 sites in 17 countries worldwide.

David Reiss, Reiss chairman, said: “We are delighted to be opening our first standalone in Gatwick, and are excited to reach new and existing international and local customers.”

With Gatwick’s “carry on-board” policy, passengers can shop with confidence as, alongside their hand luggage allowance, each passenger is allowed to take an airport shopping bag onto their flight.

Rachel Bulford, head of retail, Gatwick Airport, said: “We are excited to welcome Reiss to Gatwick’s line up of retail brands this month.

“Reiss’ design-led products complement our existing retail offer and will continue to meet consumer demand for high quality fashion as part of the airport shopping experience.

“All of Reiss’ customers at Gatwick will be able to take advantage of tax free prices and our airport wide ‘carry on-board’ service, meaning that our 44 million passengers can shop with confidence.”
