Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority has launched a new ‘RAK Tourism’ app, a comprehensive destination application, available for download on all iPad and iPhone devices.

The apps features an overview of the emirate’s attractions, hotels, excursions, and events, as well as an image gallery, designed for Ras Al Khaimah visitors and residents alike.

“The launch of the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism iPhone and iPad App RAK Tourism App. takes tourism to a new level.

“Today, technology plays a key element in everything we do – in work as well as leisure.

“This App will act as a guide to all emirate’s attractions introducing this affordable luxury destination to people from around the world to discover the varied leisure and adventure attractions and the truly Arabian hospitality,“ said Victor Louis, chief operating officer, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.

The colourful home page invites users to click onto different icons; About Ras Al Khaimah, Exploring the Emirate, Hotels & Resorts, Events & Offers, Wine & Dine, Media Centre and Frequent Asked Questions. 

The About Ras Al Khaimah icon presents the history of the emirate, its geography as well as its heritage, culture and environment and by clicking onto the Explore the Emirate icon, users can explore instantly the various touristic highlights and attractions.
