FCM Travel Solutions today announced the addition of a new role in their multinational business – global data leader.

Paul Ramirez, who is based in Brisbane Australia was appointed to the role and brings with him more than 20 years of experience across various key industries.

Having held various leadership and senior consulting roles in Australia, the USA, New Zealand and Singapore, Paul brings a wealth of international experience to the global travel management company.

Global technology product solutions leader for FCM, Malcolm Sturges-Britton, said that as the travel sector continues to undergo significant transformation, a strong focus on data was required in order to understand and better predict travel patterns and traveller behaviour, both of which are integral to reporting and duty of care requirements of large organisations.

“Our Focus for the FCM Data team is to ensure we deliver high-quality information and a business intelligence service to our clients and travellers,” he said.

FCM have made considerable investment to build this team and information management capability in order to deliver on the reporting and safety requirements of their multinational and global clients.
