Pan Pacific expands China profile with Tianjin hotel
Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the opening of the 319-unit Pan Pacific Tianjin in China.
The property is the fifth Pan Pacific in China after hotels and serviced suites in Xiamen, Suzhou and Ningbo, marking the extension of the brand footprint along the east coast and into the northern region.
The largest coastal city in northern China, Tianjin is about 30 minutes by high-speed train from Beijing and is a major seaport and gateway to the Chinese capital.
Home to some 300 Fortune 500 companies, it has become an important hub for industrial and financial activity.
