Oman Air prepares for launch of Manila and Jakarta routes

Oman Air is experiencing unexpectedly high demand for seats on two new routes that are due to be launched in December.

Bookings to the two new destinations of Manila and Jakarta opened in August and immediately attracted enquiries from passengers planning their Christmas and New Year breaks.

In addition, great interest in the new flights have been expressed by the international Filipino and Indonesian diaspora, who have warmly welcomed this new opportunity to visit friends and family in their home cities.

From December 2nd, Oman Air will be offering two flights a week to Manila, with a third frequency being operated from December 13th.

From December 12th, three flights per week will be offered to Jakarta, with a fourth frequency being operated from January 2nd next year.

Oman Air’s award-winning Airbus A330s will serve both routes, enabling customers to enjoy the internationally acclaimed comfort, space and onboard service for which Oman Air is famed.

Flights from Muscat to Manila will arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, from where passengers will be able to explore the economic and political heart of the Philippines.

The city is home to extensive commerce and some of the most historically and culturally significant landmarks in the country.

Meanwhile passengers arriving at Jakarta’s Soekarno–Hatta International Airport are able to make the most of one of South East Asia’s most populous cities.

Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia and the country’s economic, cultural and political centre, having been a major port since the fourth century.
