New appointment for Thomas Cook

Thomas Cook Group has appointed Sandra Campopiano as its new Chief People Officer. Sandra will join Thomas Cook on September 2 from Premier Farnell PLC, where she has been Chief People Officer for 6 years.

Sandra Campopiano was voted HR Director of the Year in 2010 by HR Magazine, one of the UK’s leading HR publications. She has more than 20 years’ significant HR experience in global, fast-paced, customer-focussed organisations including Arrow Electronics inc.

Sandra has also worked with major brands in the digital and technology space including Psion (part of Motorola Solutions), Barclays Retail and Online Business and is used to advising Boards and Leadership teams on all aspects of best in class HR practice.
