Meliá Hotels International will sell accommodation and experiences on Amazon.

The group is currently the only hotel company to sell services through the e-commerce website.

Meliá will offer two types of MeliáRewards gift cards, on sale through Amazon throughout the UK, Spain, France, Italy and Germany.

One gift card will hold 35,000 points and the other 55,000 points.

The points can be exchanged for stays at any of the company’s hotels, along with other services.

MeliáRewards, the Meliá loyalty programme, also allows members to exchange points for Amazon gift vouchers. MeliáRewards also has partnership agreements with more than 40 leading companies (airlines, car rental, leisure, retail and financial services, among others), offering a variety of loyalty rewards for customers.
