L’Oreal and Costa Cruises partnership
L’Oréal Paris, the truly global beauty brand synonymous with innovation, glamour, the highest quality and affordable luxury, has opened its first flagship store on the Costa Pacifica, the largest Italian passenger ship (114,500 gross tonnage and 3,780 total guests).
The L’Oréal Paris store on the Costa Pacifica is an international cosmetic shopping experience devoted to total beauty care. The new outlet is designed to meet all passengers beauty needs and includes skin care, hair care and color, men’s grooming, sun care and – of course – cosmetics with an exclusive make-up corner where matte finish, flawless foundation, personal color palette and micro-pearls are among the star attractions.
There will also be a make-up artist to hand and a relaxation area helping passengers embrace their inner beauty.
The partnership is the result of the L’Oréal Paris brand’s determination to enter the world of cruising and join Costa, the European leader, whose ships have plied the seas of the world for more than 60 years, offering the best in hospitality and entertainment.
“We are delighted to have taken the opportunity given to us by Costa Cruises and we firmly believe in our partnership with the Group, said L’Oréal Paris Commercial Director Guido Guida.

“This is a unique opportunity for us to approach our consumers in a dedicated facility where we can convey the values and carry out the mission of L’Oréal Paris.”
“For Costa Cruises, the partnership with the L’Oréal Paris brand means that, yet again, we are breaking new ground by offering our guests the chance to enhance and complete their vacation, added Costa Cruises President Gianni Onorato.
“I am sure that our customers from all over the world will appreciate this alliance between two such prestigious international brands.”
The Costa Pacifica will be operating this coming winter on 11-day cruises to Egypt, Israel, Greece and Turkey. Facilities on board the Costa Pacifica include the Samsara Spa (over 6,000m²) with conveniently located cabins with direct access and a dedicated restaurant, a state of the art recording studio, a Grand Prix driving simulator, a central lido extending over two decks and fitted with a sliding glass roof and PlayStation World.
