Istanbul prepares for CATHIC 2011
Preparations for the Central Asia & Turkey Hotel Investment Conference (CATHIC) are well underway with an exciting line-up of inspirational speakers in place ahead of the event.
Scheduled to take place in Istanbul from February 7th-9th, CATHIC will offer wide-ranging insight into a variety of industry-related topics, with everything from Turkey’s position on the global stage to ensuring the profitability of investment under the microscope.
Industry heavyweights – including EMEA, IHG president Kirk Kinsell, Hilton Worldwide European president Simon Vincent and Orient-Express Hotels chief Paul White – will also be offering their thoughts on the plans of global brands in the region.
On a regional level, a debate moderated by Servotel Corporation president Omer Isvan will examine what local leaders doing to achieve growth.
Discussing the topic will be some of the region’s most influential hotel groups, with Huseyin Ozturk, chief executive officer at Marmara Hotels, Murat Eroglu, chief executive officer at Dedeman Holding and Kees Hartzuiker, chief executive officer at Rixos Hotels all scheduled to appear.
These luminaries will be joined by over 60 speakers discussing all aspects of investing and operating in the region.
