Millennium & Copthorne Hotels has appointed Lim Boon Kwee as senior vice-president for Asia as part of a shake up of top management.

Lim has a wealth of experience spanning more than 25 years in the hospitality industry, managing luxury hotels in both the United States and Asian markets.

Prior to joining M&C, he was with the New World Hospitality Group in Shanghai, China.

Lim’s experience includes managing hotels for renowned hospitality chains such as Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Sedona Hotels & Resorts.

Mr Lim was also instrumental in the opening of various iconic properties such as Raffles Hotel, Singapore, The Westin Stamford & Westin Plaza, Singapore and Shangri-La Hotel Ningbo.

Mr Lim, who graduated with an MBA from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, is an Honours graduate from the University of Denver in Business Administration.
