Hilton Hotels & Resorts expands presence in China with opening of Hilton Dalian

Hilton Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of Hilton Dalian, its third property in China’s Northeastern region. Located in Dalian’s rapidly emerging and vibrant East Harbor district, the 370-room Hilton Dalian is 13 kilometers from Dalian International Airport, the largest and busiest airport in Northeastern China. The hotel is adjacent to the new 210-room Conrad Dalian, which also opens soon.
“Dalian has much to offer both domestic and international travelers as it grows in standing as a flourishing coastal and port city, where more and more international events are being staged. It is vital for Hilton Worldwide’s growth strategy in China to play a major role here, and for our properties themselves to become key destinations for discerning travelers from China and around the world,” said Martin Rinck, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide.
“We constantly strive to blend Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ innovative ideas and global management experience with local culture. With the growth of Dalian as one of the newest and most promising coastal economic zones in China, we are keen for the Hilton Dalian to continuously develop and provide guests with a contemporary and personalized experience, set in world-class facilities,” said Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
Hilton Dalian will offer some of the city’s most luxurious guest rooms, starting at 34 square meters. There will be a total of 18 suites, with options ranging from 80-square meter Executive Suites to the 231-square meter Presidential Suite. All rooms are meticulously designed and generously appointed, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Dalian’s shores, mountains, rivers, and cityscape in absolute comfort.
