Flybe to fly Cardiff route for summer 2017
Flybe has announced the continuation of its service from Cardiff to London City as part of its extensive summer ’17 schedule.
Vincent Hodder, Flybe chief revenue officer commented: “It is good news for the route that is receiving such positive support from the business community.
“Flybe prides itself on providing unrivalled regional connectivity and, as champions of regional air travel, it is heartening to see that this route is doing just that for Cardiff.
“We look forward to seeing demand continuing to grow, to allow it to become a firmly established route on our Cardiff schedule.”
With up to two flights a day, operating seven days a week, and with an average flight time of just an hour, customers are increasingly taking advantage of this fast, convenient travel option to the heart of London.

Debra Barber, managing director of Cardiff Airport, adds: “This important service has already seen many Welsh business professionals making the journey to London for the day – it’s proving to be a real time saver and an exciting prospect for companies who want to do business in Wales.
“A city service is an important link between both Capitals, but it will only continue for as long as our customers support and utilise the route – so I’d encourage everyone to try the service.”
