Partner network manager for FCm Latin America, Maren Hanschke, said the new alliance was a strategic move for FCm as the company pushed ahead with plans to grow the network across Latin America and other global regions.
“There is room for growth in the corporate travel space across Latin America and we plan to harness that future growth with the expert service and strong local alliances established by Biblos Travel,” she said. “They have the capability and resources to effectively manage multi-national clients and an internal culture that is well suited to ours.
“We were looking for a certain calibre of partner to enhance our network in Latin America and Biblos Travel met all the criteria in every way. We’re delighted to welcome them on board and are confident the new alliance will facilitate new business in the region and deliver a new range of cost-saving services to our existing client base.”
Biblos Travel CEO Pablo Damerau said the company partnered with FCm because it saw strong links between FCm’s and Biblos Travel’s customer-oriented focus and service culture.
“We recognise that FCm’s strengths and global coverage, as well as its service culture, are very similar to ours. We believe that the partnership will be mutually beneficial and are now working together in gaining market share both locally and regionally,” Mr Damerau said.
FCm is holding a special event to launch the new partnership with Biblos Travel Wednesday July 28 2010 at Hotel Madero – Salon: Montmartre in Buenos Aires.
