Goldsmith, left, welcomes Europcar to Richmond

Europcar has opened its latest location at the Richmond Homebase on Manor Road, Richmond.

Visiting the new branch – which puts vehicle rental right in the heart of the community – local MP, Zac Goldsmith, welcomed local Europcar Agents, Tony Baugh and Simon Westbury.

“I am pleased to see Europcar thriving at its new home in Homebase,” said Goldsmith, MP for Richmond Park and North Kingston.

“I’m glad we managed to retain such a strong business inside the Borough and I hope it continues at this site for some time.

“It’s also encouraging to see the company’s strong support for Electric Vehicles and I hope that this element of the business will grow over the coming years.”

Customers in the Richmond and Kingston area have a wide range of vehicles to choose from to fit every occasion, from the spacious Mercedes B Class, with room for extra luggage, making it ideal for an important business trip or a chic city car, such as the Fiat 500.

“Europcar has been operating in Richmond since 1997 and this branch relocation reflects our continued commitment to servicing business and leisure travellers in South West London”, explained Andrew Franklin, director, public sector, Europcar UK Group.
