Engineering works set to disrupt Easter Travel - Europcar suggests hire a car instead
Europcar, the leader in car hire services in Europe, is urging travellers to consider using a hire car this Easter following news that train services right across the country will be severely affected by planned engineering works.
Hiring a car could, therefore, be a better option as Ken McCall, managing director, Europcar Group UK explained: “Car hire is an incredibly flexible alternative to public transport, especially with the planned engineering works being rolled out right across the UK this Easter.
“We are able to offer travellers an easy and convenient method of transport, as well as taking the stress and expense out of travelling around the country on an over-packed train, or even worse, a replacement bus service!
“But it’s important to book early, because we are anticipating increased demand as a result of the likely problems affecting public transport.
“Europcar offers a number of convenient methods for travellers to begin their holidays, including its unique free deliver service which arranges free delivery and collection to a customer’s home address, within a 15 mile radius of the nearest Europcar location, for hires of two days or more, completely free of charge.
“Easter is a great time to visit family and friends or just take a long weekend break but train delays and cancellations could be an unnecessary frustration and waste time – a commodity we seem to have less of these days,” added Ken McCall.
“With our network of over 200 locations around the UK and an extensive fleet, from compact city cars to people carriers that will accommodate all the family, we should have the vehicle to suit everyone’s needs.
“It is just important to book early!”
Customers can book car hire from the official Europcar website.
Europcar is considered the World’s Leading Car Hire by the World Travel Awards.
