Conrad Hotels & Resorts opens Conrad Dalian

Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of the 210-room Conrad Dalian, located in the heart of Dalian’s most sought after development area, the East Harbor. Owned by real estate development group, Dalian Wanda Commercial Properties, the landmark Conrad Dalian aims to host the city’s premiere business and leisure events and bring the “The Luxury of Being Yourself” to this bustling coastal city.

John T.A. Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands for Hilton Worldwide, said, “Over the last 25 years, Conrad Hotels & Resorts has established itself as a leading luxury brand for discerning travelers who seek style that is sophisticated, global and thoughtful.  With our first urban hotel in mainland China, we are now gearing up to deliver the brand’s distinctive style of service for business and leisure travelers from around the world who visit Dalian.”

“Dalian has established itself as a major shipping center in Northeastern Asia and is also emerging as a choice venue for international large-scale events, such as the recent Davos Economic Forum. Establishing properties to grow our brand presence and strengthen our foothold in key cities is part of Hilton Worldwide’s aggressive growth strategy in China,” said Martin Rinck, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide.

Conrad Dalian is located at the center of Dalian’s East Harbor, neighboring the scenic Bohai Bay and sitting directly across from the International Convention Center. The hotel features a design that merges elements of Dalian’s local culture with Conrad’s distinctive approach to individual luxury. Staying in touch with the latest trends, Conrad Dalian offers business people and travelers a personalized experience that fully accommodates both work and play.

Each of the Deluxe guest rooms, located on floors 26 to 33, will feature at least 46 square meters of indoor living space with a stunning view of Dalian, furnished with a wide range of amenities, including a spa bathroom with separate deep-soaking tub, luxury toiletries and a 19-inch bath-side television. Rooms will also include a 55’’ HD LED television with an interactive system offering satellite channels, HD movies and flight information. The Presidential Suite will offer 408 square meters of indoor living space, housing two bedrooms, a grand piano, massage bed, and master bath suite with steam/sauna facilities.

Conrad Dalian will offer innovative experiences at three signature dining and entertainment venues: martinis, mojitos, music and more at the M Bar & Lounge, panoramic harbor views at the city’s tallest penthouse lounge, Yun and the finest seafood from Dalian’s rich waters and beyond at the C Grill.

Other features available at Conrad Dalian include a beautifully appointed 25-meter swimming pool and high-tech fitness center, an international-branded hair salon, as well as two luxurious ballrooms and four multi-functional meeting rooms.  The hotel is adjacent to the new 370-room Hilton Dalian, which also opens soon.
