Concur and HRS partner to provide corporate clients with rich hotel content and lower travel costs

Concur, the world’s leading provider of on-demand Employee Spend Management services and HRS – Hotel Reservation Service, announced today a new partnership in which mutual customers now have access to the full HRS content and to all advantages of using HRS through Concur® Cliqbook Travel, Concur’s online corporate travel booking tool, and Concur® Travel & Expense, the end-to-end solution that seamlessly combines online travel booking with automated expense reporting.

This means that any Concur client can now access the rich hotel content of HRS directly from their online corporate booking tool. HRS provides direct access to more than 250,000 hotels in 180 countries that are both chain and independent hotels, making it the largest non-GDS source of online hotel content available anywhere. Furthermore, corporate customers benefit from HRS corporate rates with up to 30 per cent discount in about 18,000 partner hotels worldwide. The hotel content and booking process is completely integrated within Concur’s corporate travel and expense management solutions, including specific corporate negotiated rates, which will mean significant savings for corporations on their hotel bookings. With a few mouse clicks, corporate travellers can choose and book their hotel online – saving time and money.

“Customers are asking for better hotel content and access to special online pricing, especially in the current financial environment,” said Barry Padgett, senior vice president and general manager of EMEA at Concur. “That’s why we’ve developed Concur® Connect, the global program that provides clients with access to content otherwise unavailable through traditional travel programs. The partnership with HRS is one more step in Concur’s ongoing commitment to providing customers with best-in-class content, pricing, and online access and HRS delivers on just that.”

“This partnership combines the strength of two successful global players,” says Tobias Ragge, CEO of HRS. “Our wide-ranging hotel content, particularly our non-GDS hotels in Europe and the rest of the world, combined with Concur’s global reach, make it a real win-win for our mutual customers. Making our content available directly through Concur’s solutions allows for a totally seamless travel booking experience and means substantial cost savings to corporations.”
