Chambers Travel Group signs up to Concur’s new Preferred Partner Programme

Chambers Travel Group has broken ground by becoming the first travel management company to be appointed as a partner in Concur’s new Preferred Partner Programme across Europe.

Concur, the global leader in integrated travel and expense management, launched its Preferred Partner Programme in the US last year where it has grown to include 23 travel management companies.

The programme is now expanding to incorporate Europe and Chambers, which has offices in the UK,  France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland, has been appointed as a Preferred Partner in recognition of the company’s commitment to the future of smart business travel, in particular use of Concur’s TripLink solution.

TripLink captures and centralises all business travel data for flights, hotels and ground transportation.

It gives corporates a complete picture of employee spend as the solution captures any bookings made outside of a company’s travel programme.

It also provides clients with the tools needed to support a gamified approach to travel and expense management.

Corporates can gain control and visibility by using a system of reward and recognition to incentivise travellers to make travel decisions which keep spend to a minimum.

Concur’s TripLink complements Chambers Travel Group’s existing portfolio of innovative proprietary technology products, such as iRequest and iApprove, which have been designed to automate and simplify the business travel process by leveraging the power of web mobile.

“We have long been committed to integrating a personalised service with innovative technology to deliver simple travel management processes for our clients,” said Chris Thelen, chief executive, Chambers Travel Group.

“We are delighted to join this programme as a Concur Preferred Partner in Europe, at a time when our customers are facing increased pressure to cater to employee demand.

“Concur TripLink gives travellers the freedom to book as they wish but also gives our clients the visibility to manage both duty-of-care needs and travel budgets,” he added.
