Rixos the Palm Dubai will be celebrating Ramadan until August 8th

During the holy month of Ramadan, Rixos the Palm Dubai will be offering a Ramadan tent Qasr Al Sultan.

The location is designed to resemble the Sultan’s palace in which people used to break their fasts, play games, smoke shisha and experience traditional Arabic entertainment.

Qasr Al Sultan is set to offer both an Iftar buffet which is planned to include lahmacun, Turkish pide, borek and traditional roasted lamb ouzi, plus a dessert counter offering traditional Turkish sweets such as baklava, kunefe and Turkish Maras ice cream.

Fresh juices, Turkish tea and coffee are to be included as well.

For Sohour, a set menu is planned to include Turkish and Arabic specialties such as mezzes, pide, saj, doner and shawarma, along with the traditional Ramadan drinks from the Ottoman times and from the Orient.

Guests at Qasr Al Sultan are to be entertained with Al Salateen band, playing live Ottoman and Middle Eastern rhythms during Sohour.

In addition, children below the age of three are allowed to eat for free, and all guests are offered free wi-fi, backgammon, chess and playing cards.

A prayer area is to be available beside the tent, and the offer includes complimentary valet parking.

Iftar buffet and Sohour are also to be offered at the property’s all day dining restaurant

A La Turca, featuring mezzes, live Turkish pides, live carving stations, a doner station and a lavish dessert buffet.

Guests are also offered shisha at the restaurant’s air conditioned terrace, at the last food order for Sohour can be made at 02:30.

At A La Turca, children below three are allowed to dine for free, and a prayer area is available at the hotel lobby prayer room.

Entertainment of background music, card games, chess and backgammon is provided as well.
