Priceline.com Offers Flexible Travellers Bargains For Holiday Travel

priceline.com has published a Best Days For Best Deals holiday travel calendar, which is available online and can be accessed for free, to help travelers find those best-discount days.

In an easy-to-follow, color-coded format, the calendar shows the current availability of airline tickets for each day around the holiday period. The calendar also shows the days when airlines are most likely to sell their seats at the deepest discounts. Priceline.com customers can make offers for airline tickets at whatever price or discount they choose. Priceline.com then tries to find an airline willing to accept that offer, and customers usually get their answers in 15 minutes or less.

Red days on the calendar are the peak travel days, where ticket availability is tightest and prices are likely to be highest. On yellow-coded days, customers can expect average availability and nominal discounts. For the maximum travel savings, look for the airplane-in-a-star logo - those are the days when ticket availability is high and airlines are most willing to accept priceline.com customer purchase offers at the deepest discounts, which can be up to 40 percent or more below retail.

According to priceline.com`s Best Days For Best Deals calendar, for priceline.com customers looking to buy their tickets this week:
