Schoiswohl joins HRG

Hogg Robinson Group has announced the appointment of Wolfgang Schoiswohl as the new Managing Director of HRG Austria and HRG Hungary.Schoiswohl will take over the position on 1 September 2008.

Wolfgang Schoiswohl, who will be based in Vienna, will report to Beat Bürer, Managing Director for Europe Central, and will be responsible for Austria and Hungary. With years of business travel experience, Schoiswohl has a broad range of practical experience and a deep understanding of the industry.

Schoiswohl, a 40-year-old from Graz, began his career in the tourism industry with the Austrian Airlines Group where he worked for 16 years in a variety of positions including customer service and sales for the Austrian business travel division. He left to ultimately manage the business travel division of Austria’s Verkehrsbüro Group where he led a team of 110 employees.

Schoiswohl succeeds Peter Bernatzik who has decided to leave HRG to pursue a different career path outside the business travel industry.
