TravelRepublic inks Worldspan deal

TravelRepublic.co.uk has signed a three-year agreement with Worldspan, part of Travelport GDS for its GDS product.The deal marks a further significant milestone for TravelRepublic.co.uk, which has enjoyed phenomenal growth in recent years selling charter, low-cost flights, and accommodation in the short-haul beach market. In 2007, the retailer topped The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 list as the UK’s fastest-growing privately owned company, with annual sales growth of over 284%. This year it is on course to generate sales worth more than £250 million.

By confirming Worldspan as its sole GDS partner, TravelRepublic.co.uk will have comprehensive access to scheduled airline content, opening up new long-haul and city-break opportunities.
