Westin Langkawi opens doors

The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa has officially opened on the idyllic island destination of Langkawi, Malaysia. Formerly the Sheraton Perdana Resort, The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa is the first Westin resort in Malaysia. The resort underwent major upgrade works to its extensive facilities over the past year, including the addition of Westin signature products and services like the Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Spa, luxury residential villas as well as extensive meeting facilities.

The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa joins the Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort as the two Starwood properties on this island destination.

The Westin features 202 newly refurbished rooms and suites, with 20 luxury Ocean View Pool Villas, boasting panoramic views of the Andaman Sea, woodlands and scenic tropical gardens. Focusing on personalized service and comfort for guests, all guestrooms and suites offer modern luxurious amenities inclusive of the iconic signature Heavenly Bed, Heavenly Rainshower/Bath, 42” plasma TV with satellite channels, and a DVD player with a surround sound system. High speed broadband internet access for both business and leisure travelers is available at the resort’s guest contact areas i.e. every guest rooms, all food & beverage outlets, lobby, Breeze lounge, the infinity pool area and all ballrooms.
