Jazeera Airways flies to Mashhad

Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s new national carrier and the first private airline in the Middle East, announced today that it will start direct flights to Mashhad, Iran twice a week starting July 19thThe launch of the airline’s 11th destination follows the arrival of the airline’s fourth brand new Airbus A320, which Jazeera Airways took delivery of on July 7th, 2006.

Mashhad is the second largest city in Iran and sits 9600 meters above sea level. The city is home of several high-profile holy sites and is equally famous for its breath-taking views and cool weather.

Jazeera Airways Vice President for Industry Affairs Mr. Bader Al Mershed said, ‘Jazeera Airways will fly direct twice a week to Mashhad, operating brand new Airbus A320 aircraft with all leather seats’.

He added, ‘With the start of our flights to Iran, Mashhad travelers will benefit for the first time ever from 24 online booking, seat reservation at the time of booking, and every day low fares. In short, they will experience freedom of travel and planning.’
