e-Travel Reports Customer Increase

e-Travel
, the leading provider of comprehensive and integrated e-business services for Enterprise Travel Management (ETM) has announced a significant increase in its customer base, coupled with innovative enhancements in its newest ETM suite release.
In support of these advances, e-Travel parent company Oracle Corporation has mandated internal use of e-Travel`s ETM service, creating expected first year cost-savings of $10 million.
e-Travel`s suite for online ETM services includes the ability to manage travel policy and preferred suppliers, book and ticket corporate travel, generate management reports, and set up corporate meetings and events.
Additionally, ETM includes direct links, an e-Travel exclusive, between buyers and suppliers that offer significant incremental cost savings opportunities.
New e-Travel ETM customers include Nabisco, Quaker Oats, Alternative Resources Corporation, Iomega, Echostar Communications, Ericsson, Inc., Gensler Associates and Marathon Oil. Existing e-Travel customers, including Keane, have seen progress over the past nine months and are beginning to see significant payoff from e-Travel`s move to ETM. e-Travel`s latest ETM Release 4.4 further demonstrates the company`s technology leadership and innovation, and includes the following new and enhanced features:
* Pre-Trip Approval - This fully integrated, out-of-the-box solution that leverages Oracle Workflow technology allows approvers to work directly within email notifications to approve, reject or request modifications to requested travel plans. It supports up-the-chain approval thresholds, prioritised routing of approval requests based on an imminent ticketing date, user-defined handling of notifications while out of the office, reassignment of approval authority for specific trips and the ability for travelers to view the approval status of their requested travel plans. Pre-trip approval allows corporations to dramatically speed up the approval process using corporate hierarchy information provided through e-Travel Administrator`s Human Resources Management System (HRMS) integration feature.
* e-Travel Intelligence- This latest release integrates and consolidates information from disparate sources including reservations created by travel agencies, online reservations and enterprise data, offers 29 different worksheets or reports that can be flexibly viewed using parameters and drill-downs, and provides significant reporting functionality for corporations` travel spend, supplier and traveller activity, including policy exceptions, and metrics that monitor the use of e-Traveler. e-Travel Intelligence empowers both corporate travel professionals and line managers, providing real-time data on policy compliance and supplier spend, enabling corporations to optimise their level of control over the travel management function.
