Abercrombie & Kent builds relationships with Connoisseur initiative

Strong trade support between travel providers and their highest performing agents has been given another boost this year with renewed interest around the Abercrombie & Kent Connoisseur initiative.

Agency sales manager at Abercrombie & Kent, Scott Bearman-Brown, explained: “The A&K Connoisseur group is potentially open to everyone.

“It is not just about volume of sales, it’s about repeat business and building a relationship between us, and the commercial terms and rewards that come along with that.

“We offer Connoisseurs increased commissions in a three-tier structure, increased familiarisation trips and shared client events.

“For example we recently did an event for one of our members to which we sent top photographer Jon Nicholson, who leads some of our Specialist Journeys, to do a talk for them.

“This year we are putting more familiarisation opportunities together where agents can earn a place on them, rather than only those getting an invitation.”

The previous Abercrombie & Kent Connoisseur social event was held at Dewsall Court in March.

Also in attendance were managing director Justin Wateridge, head of marketing Annabel Tremaine, head of sales and product Nick Coates, and Adam Coats, head of sales, A&K Villas & Ski.

Guests combined a weekend of drinks, meals, meetings, mingling and opportunities to explore specific needs and joint activity.

Abercrombie & Kent is considered the World’s Leading Luxury Tour Operator by the World Travel Awards.
