Mantis Collection brings a taste of Argentina to the polo season

Following the success of the inaugural Mantis Collection-sponsored Gaucho Polo event at the 02 Arena earlier this year, the luxury hotel operator is offering spots fans a second chance to indulgence.

On July 1st enthusiasts from around the world will descend on picturesque Richmond, on the outskirts of London, to watch the world’s top players.

Providing entertainment for all, Sunset Polo will offer have-a-go polo sessions, bike polo matches, junior polo games and a tutored wine tasting by Gaucho’s head sommelier and Gaucho Asado.

The day will culminate with professional polo tournaments, including a tense final featuring the world’s number one polo player, Adolfo Cambiaso.

Adolfo will appear at Gaucho Sunset Polo for the second year, following his stunning performance as the Team Gaucho captain in a tightly fought match against Camino Real.

To round off the perfect summer day, Gaucho will host a glamorous after party with live electro-tango music.

Guests will also have the chance to bid for money-can’t-buy prizes in an auction to raise money for Adolfo’s charity, the Ideas del Sur Foundation.

Argentine Connection

Polo is Argentina’s most exciting sport, attracting the most talented players and passionate fans in the world.

The Gaucho event will bring the essence of the country’s national sporting heritage to Ham Polo Club, bringing Argentine passion to London’s greatest and last surviving polo club.

Tickets start at £10 for general entry, making Sunset Polo the ideal way to introduce those not familiar with Argentina’s greatest sport and perfect for family trips.

For the full Argentine experience, Gaucho is offering luxury packages, allowing guests to add to the day with a wine masterclass, five-course lunch at Gaucho Richmond and access to the Veuve Clicquot champagne lounge.

Bringing the best in Argentine food and wine with the sophisticated glamour of Buenos Aires, Gaucho is now not only the ultimate dining destination but an established ambassador for Argentine culture and sport.
