On Saturday 12 June the Stena Navigator, which operates between Stranraer, SW Scotland, and Belfast held its first barbecue onboard, sparked up by Paula Fitzgerald and chef “Robbie” McCutcheon.

The weather was warm and a wee bitty windy but that didn’t deter the droves of customers who took the opportunity to sample the char-grilled delights on offer.

Stena Line’s general manager for travel on the Irish Sea, Dermot Cairns, said, “We’re hoping to make the barbecue available as often as possible to our customers on the Stena Navigator and I am sure you agree it will certainly add something to onboard experience”.
