Dallas appoints James F. Adams to DART Board

Dallas businessman James F. Adams is the newest member of the Board of Directors of Dallas Area Rapid Transit. He was appointed by the Dallas City Council. Adams, president of Innisfree Investments of Dallas, is on the board of directors of the city of Dallas Skillman Corridor Tax Increment Financing District, Texas Methodist Foundation and the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, where he served as chairman.

He previously served on the Dallas Citizens Council, city of Dallas Ethics Advisory Commission and the Richardson Independent School District budget advisory team. He also chaired the Highland Park United Methodist Church Council.

Adams holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Louisiana State University and a law degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.
