ATLANTA, May 23, 2002—Delta Shuttle announces special Memorial Day fares as low as $75 each way between New York’s LaGuardia’s Marine Air Terminal and Boston, and New York and Washington’s Reagan National.
Travel may begin as early as 2:31 p.m. (EDT) Sunday, May 26 and must commence by 2:30 p.m. (EDT) Monday, May 27, 2002.
With all-leather seats and a spacious seat pitch of 36 inches, Delta Shuttle offers 17 nonstop, hourly departures between New York-LaGuardia and Boston-Logan International or Washington-Reagan National Monday through Friday, and 14 nonstop departures on Saturday and Sunday. All flights offer guaranteed seating for all passengers arriving at the gate at least three minutes prior to departure. If a scheduled flight is full, Delta Shuttle will either roll out another aircraft within 15 minutes or award the passenger a free Delta Shuttle ticket. The guaranteed seat policy does not apply during inclement weather, Air Traffic Control delays or conditions beyond Delta`s control. Reservations are not required. Delta SkyMiles members earn mileage by flying Delta, Delta Connection, Delta Express, Delta Shuttle and Delta`s airline partners.
Restrictions: Tickets are non-transferable. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or in all markets. Purchase Requirements: Fares are one-way. Round-trip purchase not required. Ticketing Period: Purchases at delta.com must be made at time of reservations confirmation and must be paid for using credit card/check card only. For tickets not purchased at delta.com, purchase must be made within 1 day of reservations confirmation. Travel Period: Fares are valid only for travel originating no earlier than 2:31 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2002 and return travel must commence no later than 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2002. Fare Validity: Fares are available on Delta Shuttle flights only. Cancellations/Refunds: Fares are nonrefundable. Changes/Standby: Wholly unused tickets: Although fares are nonrefundable, customer may apply value of fare to any applicable published fare less $75 plus any applicable fare difference. Partially used tickets: Date/time changes only. Allowed only on return portion of itinerary for a fee of $75 per change plus applicable fare difference, as long as rule requirements are satisfied. All changes must be made prior to the original date/time of departure. Fares offered on delta.com do not apply for reissue/downgrade of previously purchased tickets. Same day standby is allowed. Taxes/Fees: Fares do not include a $3.00 Federal Excise Tax which will be imposed on each flight segment of your itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Fares do not include Passenger Facility Charges(s) of up to $18, depending on itinerary and September 11th Security Fee of up to $10.00 per round-trip. These fees are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time of departure. Miscellaneous: Third party purchases of tickets are not permitted on delta.com. The credit/check card holder making the purchase must be a traveling passenger or have the same last name as of at least one passenger.
