STR signs Magnuson as Sponsor of Hotel Data Conference

STR and signed Magnuson Hotels as the Founding Sponsor of the inaugural Hotel Data Conference, which will be held 4-5 August, 2009, in Nashville, Tennessee.“We’re delighted to have Magnuson Hotels on board as our founding sponsor,” said Mark Lomanno, president of STR. “As a rapidly expanding brand, they are a perfect fit for what we are trying to accomplish. We launched the Hotel Data Conference to inform the industry how it can dig deep to utilize data. Working with Magnuson Hotels as the founding sponsor will broaden both companies’ horizons.”

Conference attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interact with speakers, panelists and other STR data users.  The conference will cover many topics such as: U.S. hotel industry forecasts from STR, PKF Consulting, and PricewaterhouseCoopers; consumer business and leisure travel; hotel demand and industry cycles; and STR data overviews, including top markets, customer segments, chain scale, pipeline and hotel operation statistics.

The Hotel Data Conference will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Nashville.
