Boutique Hotel Blake opens in Chicago

The 162 room, Hotel Blake, is the newest luxury business and leisure travel hotel in Chicago.This upscale boutique hotel offers impeccable service, luxurious surroundings and reflects the elements, personality and style of Chicago: clever and modern with a dash of edge.

Classic design, deep jeweled color scheme, rich custom wood furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views of the City make Hotel Blake an ideal spot for executive business and upscale vacation travel.

With a soft opening in November 2005, Hotel Blake is on schedule for all guestrooms, services and amenities to be in place by April 2006.  Prior to the Grand Opening celebration in April, Hotel Blake is offering guestrooms starting at just $149 per night.

Centrally located in the heart of Chicago’s liveliest business and shopping district, the hotel features 162 oversized, elegantly appointed rooms, including four executive suites, with twelve-foot vaulted ceilings, spacious bathrooms with granite and marble features and Molton Brown toiletries. Innovative meeting room space with dramatic views and outstanding decor offers seating for up to 110 guest theater-style and 90 at banquet tables. 

Small market meeting planners will find this venue ideal for business travelers from around the world and/or local corporate meetings and events.

Hotel Blake offers a gourmet dining experience to guests who choose to enjoy lunch or dinner next door at Custom House, the latest in award-winning restaurants developed by Chef Shawn McClain and partners Sue and Peter Drohomyrecky - famous for their legendary dining establishments, Spring and Green Zebra. 

Custom House will provide catering service to the hotel for room service and meeting and event planning. 

Managed by The Falor Companies, a Chicago-based hospitality firm, Hotel Blake is located in historic Printer’s Row and is on the Register of National Historic Sites.  A member of the Boutique Preferred Hotel Group, the hotel occupies the former 19th century headquarters of the Morton Salt Company and is within walking distance of the Loop, the Chicago Board of Trade, Grant Park, the newly designed Millennium Park, the Theater District, The Art Institute and Lake Michigan.
