OpenTable, Inc. Appoints Douglas Boake as Senior Vice President Business Development

OpenTable, Inc. (www.opentable.com) today announced the appointment of Douglas Boake to the position of senior vice president of business development. Boake joins OpenTable from Amazon.com; where he served for two years as vice president of business and corporate development and helped grow that company into one of the Internet`s leading e-commerce destinations.
At OpenTable, Boake will be responsible for the strategic development of new partnerships and for and maximizing the company`s current alliances. Boake`s appointment helps the company meet increasing demand for its proprietary restaurant search and reservation engine at travel, leisure and dining sites across the Internet and on private Intranets. Boake`s appointment furthers OpenTable`s efforts to deliver the conveniences of 24/7 online access to restaurant reservations to dining consumers and `power-bookers` such as travel agents, hotel concierges and administrative assistants, thereby driving incremental business to the company`s partner restaurants.
``We`re pleased to make this addition to our already stellar management team and look forward to continuing to accelerate the growth of both our member base and restaurant network under Doug`s experienced leadership,`` said Jeff Edwards, OpenTable`s CEO. ``Doug`s experience in developing and maximizing strategic business development partnerships will help OpenTable achieve its goal of becoming the ubiquitous provider of electronic restaurant reservations to anyone who makes dining reservations, whether they`re booking for themselves or on behalf of others.``
