Virgin Hotels has welcomed Bryan Davern as its new vice president of operations, Europe. He will spearhead operations in Europe as it gears up to open its first hotels outside of the United States.
Richard Branson arrived at the casino-resort in a parade of classic British cabs and was welcomed by executives from JC Hospitality, Hilton and Virgin Hotels Las Vegas team members.
The property will be located at 236-246 Clyde Street, a prime city centre position overlooking the River Clyde in the heart of Glasgow’s shopping area, making it an ideal base to explore the city.
Virgin Hotels has confirmed James Bermingham has been appointment as chief executive of the company, effective immediately. He replaces Raul Leal, who stepped down in January.

Richard Branson has purchased the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas from a Brookfield-managed private real estate fund. The group plans to open a reconceptualised and revitalised property, the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, in the second half of 2019.
