Thomas Cook has announced that Chris Mottershead will take back the leadership of the business in the United Kingdom “for the time being”. Mottershead brings detailed, experienced knowledge of the UK tour operator and is well placed to execute Thomas Cook’s strategy.

Thomas Cook Group has reported net, pre-tax losses of £53 million for the financial year to September 30th. The figure is a sharp turnaround from profits of £43 million last year, driven largely by a summer heatwave in the UK.

Thomas Cook Airlines is launching a new weekly flight from Norwich Airport to Dalaman, Turkey. The weekly flight, departing on Wednesdays, takes off on May 23rd on the A320 aircraft and will have 180 customers on board, all looking forward to some spring bank holiday sunshine.
