Jet2.com to link UK to Geneva for winter ski season
Jet2.com is making sure skiers can hit the slopes while reinforcing its position as Yorkshire’s largest airline, by adding more flights and capacity to leading ski destination, Geneva. The news means that Jet2.com is currently the only airline serving Geneva from Leeds Bradford in winter 2017/18.

Qatar Airways to bring Boeing Dreamliner to Geneva route
Qatar Airways has announced a substantial aircraft upgrade on the Doha to Geneva route from July 1st 2016, to become the airline’s second Dreamliner route to Switzerland after Zürich. The route, which is currently operated by an Airbus A320 with 132 seats, will be served by the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner, almost doubling capacity on the direct daily service to 254 seats.

Norman Foster to oversee Kulm Hotel Pavillon redevelopment
The legendary Kulm Hotel St. Moritz has announced that British architect Lord Norman Foster is to oversee a £5.4 million refurbishment and extension of the Ice Pavillon in the Kulm Park. The Pavillon stands between the main hotel building and Chesa al Parc (one of the Kulm’s restaurants and the clubhouse for Kulm Golf St. Moritz); in front of it is the hotel’s outdoor ice rink (in winter) and tennis courts (in summer).
