Abu Dhabi and Man City renew partnership
Manchester City has renewed its sponsorship deal with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, which becomes the Premiership club’s official destination partner. The hugely respected tourism authority won “World’s Leading Tourism Board” at the 2009 World Travel Awards.
Beckham delivers England’s World Cup bid
Nine candidates bidding to host the World Cup in 2018 or 2022 have begun delivering their proposals to Fifa. David Beckham presented England’s bid to Sepp Blatter, telling the Fifa president of the “passion and emotion” the nation would bring to the tournament and declaring “football runs through our veins”.
