With a growing number of port calls secured for the upcoming season, the Port Authority of Jamaica has been celebrating recognition by the World Travel Awards.

The introduction of cruise shipping to Port Royal, and by extension Kingston, has been planned for more than two decades. Port Royal joins Montego Bay, Falmouth, Ocho Rios and Port Antonio in the Jamaican market.

The Port Authority of Jamaica has built the largest themed cruise port in the world, the first Caribbean cruise port to promote the history and culture of the destination as opposed to the traditional sun, sea and sand.
