Delta launches Los Angeles to San Francisco shuttle
Delta Air Lines will begin hourly, nonstop Delta Shuttle service between Los Angeles International and San Francisco International airports on Sept. 3, 2013. The Delta Shuttle introduces 14 daily flights and a product tailored to business travelers while adding a California perspective to its popular New York-based shuttle.
Delta adds new service to Aspen
Delta Air Lines will add new nonstop seasonal service to Aspen/Snowmass, Colo. with daily flights from Atlanta and Saturday-only flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul, effective Dec. 21, 2013.

Air France to fly to Erbil following Middle East Airlines deal
Air France has confirmed it will offer flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to a new destination in Iraq, thanks to a codeshare agreement with Middle East Airlines, a member of the SkyTeam alliance. Passengers travelling to Lebanon may, on arrival in Beirut, take a connection on the daily flight by A320 operated by Middle East Airlines to Erbil, capital of Iraqi Kurdistan.
Emirates expands in eastern Europe with new Kiev route
Emirates has unveiled new expansion plans for Eastern Europe with the launch of daily services to Kyiv Boryspil International Airport in Kiev from January 16th 2014, marking its first route to the Ukraine. Offering a daily service, operated by an Airbus A340-500, the new flight will provide convenient global connections, via Dubai, to the country’s population of 45 million, further enhancing the nation’s burgeoning economy.

Wizz Air expands eastern European destinations from Israel
Wizz Air has announced three new routes from Ben Gurion International Airport. Flights to Lithuanian Vilnius and Polish Katowice will start operating in late October and will be followed by the route to Cluj-Napoca in Romania in late November.
BA launches new Cyprus route
British Airways has announced the launch of a brand new flight route from London Gatwick to Larnaca in Cyprus. The flights were celebrated in style at Gatwick Airport by Britain’s Got Talent stars Stavros Flatley, who originally hail from the Mediterranean island.
Gulf Air increases frequencies to Jeddah from double to triple daily
Gulf Air has added seven extra flights weekly to and from Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, increasing capacity on the route by over 30 per cent to meet a growing market demand. The airline will now operate one extra frequency daily increasing its scheduled flights to three per day the key city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Aeromexico to serve La Paz-Los Angeles route
Aeromexico has started to serve the Los Angeles–La Paz route with modern Embraer 190 aircraft, equipped with 99 passenger seats. With this route, the airline offers its first international connection from La Paz, in addition to the existing flights to Mexico City and Culiacan, with the latter continuing to Guadalajara.
