Air Lituanica to launch flights from Vilnius to Prague and Munich
From the 20th of September Air Lituanica passengers, already offered three regular direct routes operated by the carrier, will be able to conveniently reach Prague and, for the 21st of the same month – Munich. Both new routes will be served with the second Air Lituanica aircraft Embraer 175. The 86-seater is being leased from the manufacturer’s subsidiary ECC Leasing.
Transaero Airlines launches scheduled flights to Dubai
Transaero Airlines will launch scheduled flights on the Moscow Dubai route from September 20th, 2013. This is a traditional route in the airline’s network. Malaysia Airlines’ has launched its new service from KL International Airport to Dubai. A two-class configured Boeing 777-200 aircraft will be operated on this Kuala Lumpur - Dubai - Kuala Lumpur route and it will offer a total capacity of 282 seats in each flight, equivalent to 3,948 seats weekly.

Ryanair adds 5 more Ireland-UK Routes
Ryanair, the UK’s largest airline, today announced that it would add additional daily frequencies from October on its five main Ireland-UK routes in a direct response to similar flight increases recently announced by Aer Lingus for the 2013-14 winter schedule. Aer Lingus’ decision to increase flight frequencies on these UK routes further undermines the discredited UKCC investigation into Ryanair’s 6 ½ year old minority (29%) stake in Aer Lingus.
