Germanwings to operate four new routes in the summer
Germanwings continues to grow this summer with the addition of four new routes from the capital. From July 4th 2014, the German airline will be flying from Berlin/Tegel to Barcelona and Zagreb and on August 31st Germanwings will launch new connections to Moscow (Vnukovo) and Paris (Charles de Gaulle).
Hong Kong Airlines to fly between Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City

Cathay Pacific expands presence in Latin America
Cathay Pacific Airways has announced it will expand its freighter services into Latin America by launching a thrice-weekly scheduled service to Mexico City on March 1st 2014, subject to government approval. At the same time, the airline will also increase the frequency of its service to Guadalajara from two to three freighter flights per week.

bmi regional launches four new direct routes in Norway
bmi Regional has launched a new service linking the two fastest growing regions in Norway - Stavanger and Northern Norway. The new routes mean Norwegians can now fly direct, non-stop to Harstad/Narvik Airport (Evenes) and Tromsø - important hubs for the Norwegian oil and gas industry - without having to connect via Oslo.
Ryanair opens Lisbon base
Ryanair is opening a new base in Lisbon in April. It will operate four new routes to Manchester, Dole and Marseille in France, and Pisa.
Copa Airlines announces 2014 growth plans
Copa Airlines, today announced growth plans for the first half of 2014, which include the launch of new direct flights from Panama to: Montreal; Canada, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Georgetown, Guyana. In addition, Copa will add aircraft to its fleet, for a 10 percent growth in capacity.
Krabi to join Malaysia Airlines’ network
Malaysia Airlines will expand its south-east Asia network with the launch of a four times weekly service between Kuala Lumpur and Krabi, Thailand from February 3rd 2014. MH770 will depart Kuala Lumpur at 14:55 and will arrive Krabi at 15:40.
WestJet spreads wings across Canada and beyond
WestJet has confirmed its most comprehensive schedule release since the airline took to the skies in 1996. As part of the 2014 summer schedule, the airline is adding five new routes, increasing frequency on 20 existing routes across the network, while five seasonal routes move to year-round service.
