Emirates signs interline agreement with Interjet
Emirates and Interjet Airlines have announced an enhanced interline agreement. The deal is set to open new routes and destinations for passengers travelling between Mexico, the Gulf, wider Middle East and beyond.
Interjet signs with Amadeus for new distribution deal
Interjet and Amadeus have signed a full content agreement which will see the carrier adopt Amadeus’ Altéa Reservation. The deal is designed to enable Interjet to extend its reach to new markets and grow its international customer base. Interjet will make its full range of domestic and international flights, as well as published fares, bookable in all Amadeus points of sale around the world.
Interjet rules out Mexicana takeover
Interjet has definitively ruled out the acquisition of rival Mexicana, which was grounded last year following financial difficulties. Mexicana cancelled all flights in August last year and has since seen a number of come back plans scuppered.
