Hilton Mexico City Santa Fe opens to the public
Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of Hilton Mexico City Santa Fe, a 260-room new-build Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Santa Fe, Mexico City. The hotel will form part of Samara - one of the five largest mixed-use complexes in Mexico. “We are excited to open our seventh Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Mexico, as we continue our brand’s expansion throughout Latin America,” said Rob Palleschi, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
Hilton Hotels & Resorts announces new hotel in Foshan
Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of the Hilton Foshan in China’s southern province of Guangdong. Strategically situated in Chancheng District of Foshan, the 27-story hotel features 600 contemporary guestrooms and suites. Hilton Foshan is operated by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Country Garden Real Estate Development.
Waldorf Astoria Hotels moves into Indonesia
Hilton Worldwide have announced the signing of a new management agreement with PT. Bali Ragawisata for the first Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts property in Indonesia. Located in the exclusive Bukit Pandawa precinct in the south of Bali, the 96-villa Waldorf Astoria Bali is also the fourth hotel in the pipeline in Indonesia for the global hospitality group.
Hilton boosts presence in Saudi Arabia with Al Ahsa deal
Hilton Worldwide is set to add the city of Al Ahsa to its Saudi Arabia portfolio, following a signing agreement with Al Jazeera Group, owned by H.E. Sheikh Dr. Jassim bin Nasser bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani. The 180-room Hilton Al Ahsa, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is expected to open in 2016 and will be strategically located in the downtown area of Al Ahsa in an upcoming district surrounded by a growing number of residential, retail and commercial developments.
Kallima Club & Spa opens in west London
This month Kallima Spa at Hilton London Syon Park re-launches with a brand new concept and name, becoming Kallima Club & Spa. Hilton Wuhan Optics Valley opens to guests
Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of Hilton Wuhan Optics Valley, marking the first Hilton Hotels property in Hubei Province. The six-story hotel features 520 contemporary guest rooms and suites with scenic views from private balconies, five diverse restaurants and bars, and over 5,000 square meters of flexible meeting space.

Hilton opens Capital Grand Abu Dhabi
Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi following a refurbishment and rebranding programme. The hotel joins the company’s burgeoning UAE portfolio and will add an additional 281 rooms to Hilton Worldwide’s growing 3000 plus UAE room total.
Hilton signs Lanzhou property to continue Chinese expansion
Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of a management agreement with Lanzhou Friendship Hotel to build a hotel consisting of approximately 389 guest rooms in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu province. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2017, the 389-room Hilton Lanzhou will reside in the city’s central commercial district and provides Hilton Worldwide with greater access to China’s rapidly developing northwest China.
Premier Inn claims UK top spot in new survey
Whitbread’s Premier Inn brand has claimed the accolade of best known hotel brand in Britain, knocking Hilton off the top perch. The most recent quarterly update on the British Hotel Guest Survey, just published by BDRC Continental, shows Premier Inn on 58 per cent unaided awareness among business travellers, and so ahead of Hilton for the first time ever in this market segment, albeit just by a single percentage point.
Hilton reflags San Juan Conrad property
Hilton Hotels & Resorts has renamed the 571-room Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza in San Juan, Puerto Rico the Condado Plaza Hilton. Following the decision the property joins more than 550 Hilton hotels and resorts in 79 countries across six continents.
